The second cycle of teaching meaningful content module \u201cLegal support of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the foreign and security policy\u201d for 2nd year students majoring in International Law has been completed.<\/p>\n

The module is part of the \u201cJean Monnet Chair in EU Economic Policies and Civil Society (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020-2023)<\/a>\u201d project supported by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency<\/a>. As part of the module, students listened to lectures and discussed in practical classes the main legal aspects of the EU’s common foreign and security policy, the creation of an area of freedom, security, and justice in the EU, the political part of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, EU acquis and harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with EU law, the common defense strategy \u201cStrategic compass of the EU\u201d (2022).<\/p>\n

The result of the module was the presentation of students’ research on current topics, in particular, regarding EU cooperation with the UN and NATO, EU sanctions policy, the EU special missions, etc.<\/p>\n

It is pleasant to note that individual results of student research were also presented at scientific and practical conferences. In particular, Yuliya Negrii took part in the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Reforming the Legal System in the Context of European Integration Processes”<\/a>, and Tamara Baraniuk \u2013 in the III All-Ukrainian Scientific and Methodological Conference “Value-Oriented Approach in Education and Challenges of European Integration”<\/a>.<\/p>\n
