On April 5, 2022, students majoring in International Law attended an online lecture by Erika Shishchak, Professor at the University of Sussex (UK), former adviser of the European Commission and the House of Lords of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The event was supported by the Western Ukrainian Research Center for European Studies<\/a> (Jean Monnet Center of Excellence).<\/p>\n

The lecture was devoted to the legal aspects and peculiarities of the procedure of Ukraine’s accession to the EU. Ms. Erica spoke about the main stages and prospects of EU membership. The issue of the conditions and consequences of Brexit for Great Britain was also raised. At the end of the event, students had the opportunity to ask questions and talk to the professor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
