On September 22, 2021, Sumy State University hosted an event dedicated to Azerbaijani multiculturalism and Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations. The event was attended by teachers and students majoring in History and International Law. Marina Honcharuk, a representative of the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism<\/a> in Ukraine, gave a lecture to students on the concept of Azerbaijani multiculturalism and intercultural and interreligious dialogue in Azerbaijan. Ms. Marina told the students about the opportunities for non-formal learning within the programs of the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism, competitions and summer schools for students interested in Azerbaijani topics.<\/p>\n

The Honorary Consul of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv, Candidate of Political Science Afghan Fagan Ogli Salmanov<\/a> also addressed the participants of the event with a speech on the history of relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n

The students showed great interest in the outlined problems and asked the guests questions, to which they were happy to answer.<\/p>\n
