In the spring semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, full-time and part-time Master’s degree students majoring in “Law” and “Intellectual Property” studied the elective “European standards for the protection of the rights of financial services consumers” and Bachelor’s degree students in the specialty “International law” – elective course in English “European standards for the protection of the rights of financial services consumers”
This year, teaching took place in an online format due to the martial law imposed on the territory of Ukraine, but the majority of students, despite the difficult conditions, constantly joined lectures and practical classes in the disciplines and took an active part in discussions and workshops. The use of the Mix platform of the Sumy State University, on which all educational materials by discipline were placed, allowed to achieve the best possible results and contributed to harmonious communication between teachers and students.
As part of the scientific research, the students published abstracts of reports based on the results of participation in the Scientific and Practical Round Table “Legal Regulation of Financial Services: National, European, Globalization Dimensions” (Sumy, January 28, 2022) and the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference Reforming Legal systems in the context of European integration processes (Sumy, May 19–20, 2022).
According to the results of studying the discipline, some students presented presentations and reports on actual issues.
