Associate Professor Anna Slavko joined the training on “Features of Article 9 of the ECHR.” The training, which took place from April 29 to April 30, 2024, was organized by the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union with the support of the American people provided through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the “Human Rights in Action” program in partnership with the Institute for Regional Press Development and the CEELI Institute (Czech Republic). The event covered both general issues related to the application of the Convention and specific aspects of the operation of Article 9 of the Convention under modern conditions. The trainer was Sergiy Zaets, a lawyer with extensive experience representing cases before the ECHR and other international bodies specializing in human rights protection.
Legal practitioners from various regions of Ukraine participated in the training. As a result of the training, Anna Slavko received the certificate of participant.
