On June 9, 2026, a unique scientific event – the Workshop for Researchers by the Editorial Board of the Common Market Law Review – took place at the Department of International, European Law and Comparative Jurisprudence of Sumy State University.
The keynote speakers of the workshop were renowned scholars and members of the journal’s editorial board:
- Michael Dougan – Professor, University of Liverpool;
- Marise Cremona – Professor, European University Institute.
During the event, our foreign colleagues shared practical secrets of preparing manuscripts for high-ranking journals with the participants and provided a detailed analysis of papers by Ukrainian researchers currently being prepared for publication.
The workshop brought together scientists within two formats of participation: as attendees (listeners) and as active researchers whose papers were directly reviewed and analyzed by the experts. The key themes of the submitted materials covered topical issues of European Union law, European integration processes, and EU standards.
Holding such international workshops is a significant step toward increasing the publication activity of Ukrainian scholars, integrating Ukrainian legal thought into the global scientific space, and developing the international academic mobility of Sumy State University.
