On 21 November 2024, a presentation of the projects implemented by the Department with the financial support of the European Commission took place.
As part of the event, the module leader of the project ‘Access to Justice: EU Best Practices for Ukraine’ Olga Shvaher presented the project’s objectives and introduced the planned activities to the participants.
The guest lecturers of the event were practicing lawyers Anatolii Cherniavskyi, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of International, European Law and Comparative Law of the Sumy State University’s Law School, and Olga Yakymenko, Regional Representative of UNBA NextGen in Sumy Region, who identified topical issues of implementing the right to access to justice under the martial law regime.
The event was attended by representatives of the academic environment, the public sector, and students.
