Ana Bobić Delivered a Lecture on the Work of the EU Court of Justice

On May 19, 2026, an online lecture titled “The ‘Life’ of a Case before the Court of Justice: What Happens Behind the Scenes?” was given by Ana Bobić, Senior Researcher at the Jacques Delors Centre, Hertie School.

The event was part of the EU Law Lecture Series, jointly organized by the Department of International, European and Comparative Law at SumDU and the Editorial Board of the Common Market Law Review.

During the session, the guest speaker shed light on the practical aspects of the functioning of the Court of Justice of the EU, the specificities of case proceedings, and the internal processes that usually remain out of the public eye. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about decision-making mechanisms and the critical role of the Court of Justice in the development of European law.

The lecture was attended by students, academic staff, and everyone interested in EU law.
