On May 26, 2026, an online lecture titled “European Union Citizenship and EU Values” was delivered by Professor Eleanor Spaventa of Bocconi University.
This lecture concluded the event series on EU law organized by the Department of International, European and Comparative Law at SumDU in collaboration with the Editorial Board of the leading peer-reviewed journal, the Common Market Law Review.
The webinar addressed contemporary approaches to understanding European Union citizenship, its connection to the fundamental values of the EU, and its significance for the advancement of European integration. The lecture sparked significant interest among students, academic staff, and European law researchers.
