Methodology

The main goal that we are faced with is the training of a qualified specialist of the appropriate level and level of competent, fluent in the profession and orientated in related fields, therefore, primarily the goal is to use such methods that take into account the competency approach to learning.

Proposed model of the project involves the use of interactive forms of training, the professional orientation of learning, described by acquiring the relevant competences as a result of the study of the course «European standards for protection of rights of consumers of financial services». Examination of acquired competencies through testing, engagement in discussions and conducting relevant qualification trainings can assess the readiness of the graduate to apply knowledge, skills, skills and personal qualities in standard situations in future professional activities.

A special method used in our module is a method of scientific knowledge, which is realized not only in the process of scientific research, but also in the educational process. It understands the following, the solving of practical problems is impossible without scientific research based on the logic of learning of the structure and content of social phenomena, activities, etc., although it may not ensure their complete concurrence. The relevance of the scientific component in legal education is enhanced by the fact that despite the widespread use of certain legal concepts and terms, the legislation does not have their definition while scientists have different definitions for the same legal phenomena.

One of the methods of teaching is also the use of broadcasts of court sessions in teaching discipline. Innovative use of the proposed method consists in visualization of the subject of study, demonstration of skills and skills required for a professional lawyer; accelerating the pace of learning; assimilation of almost 90 percent of the training material by combining court broadcasting with other teaching methods (case studies, discussions, reflection). This method involves the achievement of two results: first, the optimal use of information technology, traditional and advanced forms of education; second, the acquisition of general and professional competences.

A special place in the methodology of the training course is given to the instruments of mixed learning. Thus, in the process of teaching the course «European standards for protection of rights of consumers of financial services», it is proposed to prepare and implement electronic course on the indicated discipline, which will include topics identified in section F2, along with the use of traditional learning technologies. The system of mixed learning in the educational process of a higher educational institution creates new possibilities for the implementation of the didactic principles of individualization and differentiation of teaching, positively affects the development of cognitive activity of students, their creative activity, consciousness, realizes the conditions for transition from education to self-education.

The practice-oriented teaching method will also be used in the course of the legal clinic’s activities.
