Module “Freedom of Expression” within the discipline “Comparative Constitutional Law”

The module “Freedom of Expression” within the discipline of “Comparative Constitutional Law” for the spring semester of the 2023/2024 academic year has concluded. This module was taught as part of the educational project with a scientific component “EU Standards on Freedom of Expression and Information (101127062)” (Jean Monnet Chair Program, Erasmus+, funded by the European Union).

 

The module included lectures on topics such as “Regulation of Media in Constitutions” and “Freedom of expressions in constitutional law” along with practical sessions. During the sessions defining media according to the Constitution, regulation of media activity during states of emergency, media pluralism and censorship, and limitations on freedom of expression were discussed.
