On December 19-20, 2022, the training “Features of teaching international humanitarian law in the conditions of a full-scale international armed conflict” took place. The training lecturers were Ukrainian lawyers specializing in international humanitarian and international criminal law, as well as employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
The goal of the training was to update the participants’ knowledge of international humanitarian law and the methods of teaching international humanitarian law to specific categories of students (law students, students majoring in international law, teachers, journalists, practising lawyers, etc.).
The teachers of the Department of International, European and Comparative Law also participated in the training: the head of the department Vladyslava Zavhorodnia, the assistant professor of the department Anatoliy Chernyavskyi and the assistant of the department Anna Slavko. They recently received the relevant certificates. We thank the organizers for the opportunity to participate in the work of an important and relevant event!
