Congratulations to the Department Ph.D. student Alina Rassokhina on completing her studies at the International Summer School of the University of Liverpool!
In many aspects, cooperation with the University of Liverpool is significant for Sumy State University. Thanks to it, students, graduate students, and teachers can join various forms of interaction with British colleagues, improve their qualifications, and participate in multiple educational and scientific projects. The International Summer School of the University of Liverpool was the first experience for our department in developing cooperation with British colleagues. Students majoring in “International Law” and teachers joined the event online. Ph.D. student of the Department Alina Rassokhina, who was already in Great Britain and did not need to go through complicated visa procedures, was able to participate in the offline school, complete an intensive three-week program with interdisciplinary courses on corporate social responsibility, the culture of the 60s in Liverpool, leadership and psychology, to communicate with students from Great Britain, Spain, Mexico, Canada, America, Brazil, South Korea, India, Singapore, to visit several excursions not only within the city, but also in Wales and the Lake District, and even see the famous Liverpool football club!
Participants independently chose the subjects they wanted to study more deeply. To complete the Summer School it was necessary to write an essay on the topics for each of the selected subjects and prepare a presentation. Alina Rassokhina prepared presentations on leadership of President of Ukraine and development of Ukrainian business in conditions of war.
