On October 10, 2020, the presentation of the educational project 619998-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE “European standards for the protection of the rights of consumers of financial services” co-funded by EU Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture under the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Module took place.
Project coordinator Olha Shvaher, project executors Mariia Plotnikova, Liudmila Rudenko presented the main stages of project implementation, outlined the purpose and objectives of its implementation.
In the process of project implementation it is planned to conduct:
• annual trainings on “European standards for the protection of consumers of financial services” that will be addressed to the community of legal clinics: curators, coordinators and consultants;
• annual round tables on “European standards for the protection of consumers of financial services”.
During this presentation, Yulia Lomzhets, Chairman of the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine, put attention on the specialization in the activities of legal clinics for the protection of the rights of consumers of financial services.
Bohdan Derevyanko, Professor of the Department of Civil and Commercial Law of the Kryvyi Rih Research Institute of the Donetsk Law Institute, took a speach about the problems of protection of the rights of national participants in the cryptocurrency market.
Due to the limitations of face-to-face events, the presentation of the project took place online using the GoogleMeet service, as well as broadcasts on the social network Facebook on the page of the Department of International, European and Civil Law Department.
