Students majoring in “International Law” participated in psychological first aid training

On December 12, 2022, students of the P-21 group of the “International Law” speciality participated in psychological first aid training as part of the curatorial hour. The event’s purpose was to form psychological first aid skills, which includes humanitarian, supportive and practical assistance to people affected by complex crisis situations. The training was organized by the NGO “Center for Lifelong Education” with the support of the charity organization MedAir in Ukraine. The project partners were the Sumy City Council, Sumy City Military Administration, Congress Center of Sumy State University and Sumy State University.

The trainer of the event, psychologist Maryna Troitska told the students about the features of psychological first aid and protective mechanisms of the psyche. Thanks to the organizers for the invitation!
