In March 2020, the Ukrainian Association of Professors and Researchers of European Integration (APREI) announced an essay contest “How the coronavirus will affect European integration and solidarity: a crisis test, a chance for renewal.”
Head of the department, coordinator of the educational project “600115-EPP-1-2018-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE Implementation of the values of the European Union in Ukraine” Vladyslava Zavhorodnia judged the competition together with other experienced specialists..
Students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of Sumy State University were among 182 participants in the competition. The works of only 15 contestants were marked by the contest committee. The diploma of the winner for the first place and a cash prize was received by the student studying on 1 course on a specialty the international law Lisova Karina. Artem Naumov, a second-year student, received a diploma with honors among other students.
