The lecturers of the department, Vladyslava Zavhorodnia and Anna Slavko, joined the work of the Training on teaching international humanitarian law for public servants, organized by the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union with the support of USAID.
The Training, which lasted from December 22 to 23, 2023, deals both with the peculiarities of teaching international humanitarian law to public officials and the practical aspects of international humanitarian law (documenting war crimes, organizing the interaction of humanitarian organizations with authorities, the activities of the National Information Bureau and implementation in the national legislation of the norms regarding identification emblems and signs).
Both teachers and practising lawyers from different regions of Ukraine joined the Training. According to the Training results, Vladyslava Zavhorodnia and Anna Slavko received certificates.
