From October 11 to 13, 2022, the first workshop was held as part of the Course for teachers of the Baltic University Programe “Education for Sustainable Development”. Within the workshop framework, the selected participants studied the concept of sustainable development and the forms of achieving its goals with the help of higher education. Participation in the seminar involves the creation of one’s change project, which must be implemented from September 2022 – March 2023 at the university where the participant works.
The event brought together 19 higher education teachers from Finland, Estonia, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine. Department assistant Anna Slavko also joined the workshop, presenting the plan for the “Gender equality for sustainable development” project.
