The lecturer of the Department Anna Slavko joined the work of the IV International scientific-practical conference “Protection of voting rights by administrative courts in Ukraine”, organized by the Supreme Court
On July 1-2, 2021, the Administrative Court of Cassation within the Supreme Court held the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Protection of Voting Rights by Administrative Courts in Ukraine”. The event was organized with the support of the Council of Europe projects “Support for Transparency, Inclusion and Fairness of Electoral Practice in Ukraine” and “Support for Constitutional and Legal Reforms, Constitutional Justice and Assistance to the Verkhovna Rada in Carrying Out Reforms to Improve Its Effectiveness”, OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). The participants of the conference, including judges of the Supreme Court, administrative courts of first and appellate instances, researchers from scientific institutions, practitioners, international experts, focused on the nature of elections as a form of democracy, judicial protection of citizens’ voting rights, related to the electoral process and other important and topical issues of the functioning of electoral systems in the world.
