Yevhen Samoilenko, senior lecturer of the International, European and Civil Law Department, and Serhii Degtyarev, professor of the Department of Constitutional Law, Theory and History of State and Law, took part in international conference “Inter-Ethnic Cooperation in the Area of Ethnic Contacts (The Eighth Readings in Memory of I.A. Antsupov)” (October 30 – November 1, 2019; Taraclia, Republic of Moldova).
The Tomsk National Research State University, the Grigoriy Tsamblak Taraclia State University (Moldova) and The International Historical Journal “Rusin” hosted this conference.
The following issues were presented for discussion:
– the poli-ethnicity of the Carpatho-Dniestrovian Lands: ethnic consciousness, inter-ethnic relations, cultural interactions, demographic processes;
– inter-ethnic boundaries: the issue of cultural dialogue; inter-ethnic interactions in contact zones and ethnic identity.
Lecturers presented via skype their report “Question on Sub-Carpathian Ruthenians in the League of Nations documents (1920-1933)”.
According to the results of the work of the conference, the organizational committee recommended to publish the authors’ article (based on the materials they had presented) in “Rusin”. This scientific journal is indexed in Scopus and Web of Science Core Collection.
