Teachers of the Department, Vladyslava Zavhorodnia and Anna Slavko received trainers of adult’s education certificates.
From December 12, 2022, to January 23, 2023, the training course “Basic Course for Trainers in the Field of Adult Education (based on Curriculum GlobALE)” was held. Curriculum GlobALE (CG) is a cross-cultural, output-orientated core curriculum for training adult educators worldwide. It was developed jointly by the German Institute for Adult Education, Leibniz-Center for Lifelong Learning (DIE) and DVV International, the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association. In five modules, it describes the relevant skills needed to lead successful courses and provides guidance on their practical implementation.
Andriy Gusev and Myroslav Grinberg were the trainers of the program. As part of the program, both online and offline sessions were held, which brought together lecturers of various faculties of Sumy State University and public activists of Sumy Oblast.
Those participants who successfully completed all the tasks of the program received certificates.
