Lecturers of the department Olha Shvaher and Anna Slavko and students joined the XIV All-Ukrainian scientific-practical online conference “Problems of legal science through the eyes of young scientists”.
On March 11, 2021, the XIV All-Ukrainian scientific-practical online conference “Problems of legal science through the eyes of young scientists” took place at the Faculty of Law of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences. The event deals with topical issues of the domestic legal system’s development. Participants presented their reports in four sections: theory and history of law, public law, private law and international law.
Lecturers of the Department of International, European Law and Civil Law Disciplines Olha Shvaher (report topic: Regulatory and Legal Protection of Consumers’ of Financial Services Rights in Ukraine and the EU) and Anna Slavko (report topic: FGM and other practices as violations of human rights and gender equality) also joined the conference.
In addition, the section on international law was attended by a second-year student majoring in International Law Victoria Boyko (abstracts: “International legal regulation of traffic and the challenges of using autonomous vehicles”) and a third-year student majoring in “Law” Artem Naumov (abstracts of the report “Environmental rights of indigenous peoples within the African system of protection of human and peoples rights”). Vladyslava Zavhorodnya, the head of the Department, was the scientific supervisor of both students.
