On April 26, 2022, the teaching of a meaningful content module “Legal support of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in foreign and security policy,” for second-year students majoring in “International Law” began. Like last year, students will listen to lectures and discuss the main legal aspects of the EU’s common foreign and security policy, the creation of an area of freedom, security, and justice in the EU, the political part of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, EU acquis and harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with EU law. The issues of the module became especially relevant today given the new reality: the EU’s common position on the Russian Federation’s aggression against Ukraine, the adoption in March 2022 of the EU Strategic Compass – the first joint defense strategy of the Union, the prospects of Ukraine’s application for EU membership.
