International Economic Law

Aims of the course:

The achievement by students of modern constructive, fundamental thinking, worldviews, and systems of specialized knowledge and skills in the field of international economic law, including the peaceful settlement of international economic disputes, the basics of WTO law and international monetary law

After successful study of the course, the student will be able to:

  • To apply the acquired theoretical knowledge of international economic law to solve practical problems and meaningfully interpret the results.
  • To identify and distinguish features of international economic law actors functioning and models of their behavior in the framework of international economic relations.
  • To identify the causes, types and nature of international economic disputes, justify and apply legal and diplomatic means of their resolving them, defending the national interests of Ukraine.
  • To understand and apply treaties and other international instruments in the area of international economic relation, accompany legally foreign economic activity and directions of international economic cooperation.
  • To communicate effectively in multicultural environment.
